Key Responsibilities · Management, configuration, and monitoring of edge devices and IoT infrastructures · Use of communication protocols in IoT environments (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, Modbus, OPC-UA, etc.) · Interaction with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments · Use of DevOps tools for deployment and management of distributed services · Daily work on Ubuntu Linux and related distributions (snap, system, docker, etc.) · Writing scripts and tools in Python, and basic knowledge of Go, Rust, Java · REST APIs testing · Knowledge of test management tool (Jiira, x-Ray) · Good knowledge of English Required Qualifications · Strong knowledge of Playwright testing framework · Solid knowledge of Ubuntu Linux (CLI, networking, package management, services) · Experience with Docker (build, compose, registry) and Snap packages · Practical experience with IoT communication protocols and distributed architecture · Scripting capabilities and basic programming skills in Go, Rust, Java, or Python · Experience with DevOps environments (CI/CD, version control, automation toolchains) · Familiarity with interfaces and connected physical peripherals in embedded or edge systems Preferred Qualifications · Configuration and troubleshooting of network interfaces (Ethernet, serial, Wi-Fi) and physical peripherals · Design and implementation of network architectures across Layer 2, 3, and 4 of the OSI model (including VLANs, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls) · Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, etc.) – Experience with remote control systems, industrial automation, and smart grids · Understanding of OT/IT environments and cybersecurity in industrial contexts · Use and maintenance of laboratory equipment, measurement tools, and connected physical devices
